Why air A Moment of Science?

Here's a reasonable question: Why should my station air A Moment of Science? And here's a reasonable answer: It's entertaining, informative, works in many different formats, has very flexible broadcast rights, attracts underwriting, and it's FREE!

 What's it about?

Literally thousands of questions about the world we live in are answered in A Moment of Science. For example, we've all hit our "funnybone," why does it feel like that? Why can't you see stars from the bottom of a well (not that you would want to!)? Can you really learn while you are asleep? Why do some birds hop and others walk?

 What do listeners say?

Your audience can experience the excitement and satisfaction of learning the answers to such questions every day of the week on these 2-minute features. Listeners from all over have told us how much they enjoy A Moment of Science, as have staff members of stations who say they often will stop what they are doing to listen.

 What does it sound like?

A Moment of Science has been syndicated since 1988, and has built a loyal audience which looks forward to hearing the programs as often as it can. The programs are heard across the U.S., and around the globe on several networks such as Armed Forces Radio, and Deutsche Welle. A Moment of Science is definitely a series you should consider for your station. So, listen for yourself to the samples on this site, or contact us for a sample CD. We even have program-related books that can be used as fund drive premiums.

How can my station get it?

A Moment of Science is available to public and commercial radio stations, and is provided on convenient-to-use compact discs. To order the programs for your station simply send us an e-mail.
